In Soda Jerk (FR), you put on the apron of a soda jerk determined to mix the best sodas in town, even if it means being a bit of a jerk to your opponents along the way. Each player gets a hand of ingredient cards - strawberry, blueberry, banana, kiwi, and orange - and on their turn either plays a card face down under one of the five taps or flips a card already on the table. Cards that match a tap's flavor raise its value, while mismatched cards lower it, sometimes pushing it into negative territory! Nobody truly knows a tap's final value until the very end, turning every turn into a clever mix of bluffing and speculation. Once the game ends, every card left in your hand scores (or costs) points equal to the final value of its matching tap, so you'd better hang on to the right flavors! With games clocking in around 15 minutes, this card game slides easily into a packed game night or between two heavier plays.

Soda Jerk is for you if you love short card games where bluffing and memory make all the difference, if you're after a party game that's easy to bring anywhere thanks to its tiny box, and if the idea of tanking your opponents' bank account makes you grin. Easy to learn in just a few minutes, it works just as well for a quick family round as for a game night with friends who love keeping an eye on each other.

Fun fact: the box hides an advanced mode that uses the back side of the tap cards to add a whole new layer of mystery before the final tally, enough to surprise even seasoned speculation-game fans. Soda Jerk has quickly earned a spot among the best-received tiny box games in its category.

Soda Jerk is designed by Chris Yi, a name well known in the gaming community for his work with The Dice Tower, a leading voice in board game reviews. The playful artwork, evoking the golden age of 1950s soda fountains, comes from illustrator Sai Beppu.

BOX CONTENTS
5 tap cards (double-sided)
45 flavor cards (5 flavors, 9 cards each)
4 player aids
1 scorepad
2 Switcheroo cards (2-player games)

Number of players: 2 to 4
Duration: 15 minutes
Age: 6 and up

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0621/5847/1419/files/soda-jerk-fr-jeux-enfants-enfants-6-ans-1259190413.jpg?v=1789694498
