Exploding Kittens - Rage Mode (FR)

*French version

Exploding Kittens Rage Mode (FR) takes betrayal to a whole new level. This is the most hostile version yet of the beloved series, offered here in its French-language edition. Every turn can end with a card that lights the fuse, and nobody is ever truly safe from a dirty move. Armed with an angry cat figurine, the Rage Cat, you can now steal a card from an opponent right when they least expect it, a card-stealing mechanic that adds a fierce new layer of rivalry to the formula that made Exploding Kittens so popular. The new cards, more brutal than ever, turn every round into a psychological battle where trust never lasts very long. Easy to learn but impossible to master without a bit of good old bad faith, this party card game runs on bluffing, revenge and shameless betrayal for game nights that usually end in laughter (and a few grudges).

You'll probably love Exploding Kittens Rage Mode if you're into fast card games where friendship takes a back seat the moment the cards are dealt. If tricking your best friend with a sneaky card makes you grin more than it makes you feel guilty, and you're after a game that wraps up in about fifteen minutes flat between longer games, this explosive edition should quickly become your go-to for game night.

Released in 2026, Rage Mode sits squarely within the Exploding Kittens family while standing out with its card-stealing mechanic, a first for the series, driven by the Rage Cat figurine included in the box.

The game is credited to Matthew Inman, the creator of the webcomic The Oatmeal, and Elan Lee, the same duo behind the original Exploding Kittens that became a Kickstarter phenomenon. Fans of the base game will quickly recognize their biting sense of humor in this fiercer edition.
